My Dear People Change is one of the most difficult aspects of life that happens to all of us. No matter what aspect of life you want to look at, change is part of it. The following is an excerpt from a letter to an earlier American president, dated Jan31, 1829. Governor of New York Martin Van Buren wrote to President Jackson, when the railroad was first introduced in the US. As you may know, Mr. President, railroad carriages are pulled at the enormous speed of 15 miles per hour by engines which in addition to endangering life and limb of the passengers roar and snort through the country side, setting fire to the crops, scaring the live stock and frightening women and children. The Almighty never intended that people should travel at such break neck speed. People did not like that change in their life and environment, it was hard for them to accept it. In Bible times, the nation of Israel went through lot of changes ever since it came into existence. Moses led Israelites for 40 years and then Joshua took over. After Joshua, a number of judges and prophets and kings led Israel. So many changes took place in that nation. The only thing that never changed was Gods control over that nation. Last Sunday we experienced a big change in our church: we all are sad and struggling to accept that change, but our pastor has set an excellent precedent and a great example for other independent churches to follow. We should respect his decision and move forward, for the unchanging God is in control of His Church In Christs love, Raja

Former Sunday School student Anaitha Chands mother Minnie Chand went to be with the Lord. Poonam Modwell battling stomach pain, has to undergo series of tests. Deepak Nag & son Jayden recovered from an upset stomach. Vicky Singh was unwell. Vibha & Manish Joshi recovered from viral fever. Baby Roshini Poklacki was down with fever. Kanta Singh was protected from serious injury when her rickshaw was hit by a motorist. Sandy & Catherine face University exams. Jerusha getting exposure at EHA hospital in Uthraula fulfilling their prerequisite for sponsorship. Mary & James Pearce are returning to India after a short break in the USA. Smriti, Roshini & Pastor Kurus niece completed her 5 years law degree and left for Bangalore to join her family and a new job.
