In celebration of the annual Guidance Week, we have again organized series of activities for
our students with the theme: “Choosing Positive Boundaries for a Balance Way of Life”. This
opportunity is aimed at providing them with the knowledge they need as they hone their life
skills essential in becoming the best that they can be but at the same time achieve a balance way
of life in accordance their set goals and priorities.

Cognizant to this, we would like to invite you to be our resource person for the “Career
Orientation” of our Freshmen. We believe that with your experiences and expertise, you
would be able to assist and enlighten our Bachelor of Science major in Special Education
students in understanding the possible career paths they would be treading after graduation.

The activity will be held at the Counseling rm. on September 20, 2010 (Monday) at 9:30 – 11:00
AM.

Also attached herewith is an outline or guide on what you have to discuss with them.

Outline on what to discuss in the Career Orientation:

a. What are the technical skills that they have to prepare while studying SPED and
Education in our school?
b. What behavioral skills that they have to imbibe as they stay in our school?
c. What to expect in the field of SPED and Education once they finish it?
d. Current trends in SPED and Education that they have to prepare for?
e. What makes San Beda SPED and Education, education stand-out from the rest?

Please try to expound everything that you will discuss about.

Be time conscious, allotted time is 30 minutes each speaker.
