My sincere efforts have made me to accomplish the task of

completing teaching internship. i have taken effort in this
project. However, it would not have been possible without the
king support and help of many individuals.

I would like to express my sincere gratitude to my principal

Dr. Mary Finela M. Bayan and the school for providing me with
facilities required to accomplish my task.

I am highly idebted to my cooperating teachers, Randell S.

Verdillo and Ana-Mary L. Villajuan for their valuable guidance
which has promoted my efforts in all the stages of this
teaching internship. My thanks and appreciation go to my
students who are the part in developing my teaching skills
and to the people who have willingly helped me out with their
abilities.

Finally, words are not sufficient to express gratitude my

cherished family members for supporting me without their
encouragement and support i would have not reached this

 INTRODUCTION

I am Patrick B. Balagso, a student at College of Education in Nueva

Ecija University of Science and Technology, under the program of
Bachelor of Physical Education.

I choose to be teacher because i want to make difference. I could

have choosen a different field where i could serve thr society but I
think that education is the right field where I could fully realized this
goal.

I believe that education is the most important asset anyone will have
and one asset which has the greatest impact on the person and to
everyone around them. While almost child has the opportunity to
access the tertiarry education, not everyone has the chance to be
given quality education, specially children with dissabilities and
excetionalities. Even though these children are recognized as future
models of the community, they contiue to be discriminated,
missunderstood and left out by majority. As a future education
teacher, I have come to the right place to eliminate the
misconception about these children. My experience in DepEd school
training made me realize that teaching children needs time patience,
understanding compassion, passion and optimism. Teaching is a
profession that one cannot be taken for granted, sometimes it is
frustrating and exhausting, but these are taken away by just one
smile of a child.

I present this portfolio for you to read about y philosophy teaching

and experiences during my Teaching Internship. My goal is to show
you my strength that would make me an effective teacher.
