 Concept is for Rapid Deployment of a MAGTF to link
up with Prepositioned Equipment and Supplies on
MPS

 Reduces strategic lift requirements



1 LMSR= 300 C-17 or 220 C-5 loads

Provides credible and rapid global response
 Warning order to MAGTF stand-up: 17-25 days

 Used to deter to “aggressors”
