This program is designed for organizations and people who need to upgrade their
effectiveness in communication and interpersonal skills in order to cope with the challenges
at workplace. The course aims to increase each participant’s oral and written skills for
professional tasks which are relevant to public and social administration.

Program Objectives

 Training participants to use a range of language functions by understanding and


using the fundamentals of communication correctly.
 Training participants to master the use of appropriate expressions for various job
situations.
 To raise the level of confidence in the area of effective communication with the
various levels of personnel.
 To increase the level of confidence in presentation skills by knowing and using some
fundamental principles in presentations.

Methodology

The approach used in this course to develop the participant’s command of English language
skills is via ‘participant-centered’ learning activities. In keeping the principle, the facilitator
creates activity driven tasks for each learning process. The highly interactive approach will
provide plenty of opportunities for practicing skills. A self-learning package will also be given
out for participants’ continuous practice at their own pace.

COURSE FACILITATOR – Mr. N. Kumar

Kumar holds a degree in LLB from the University of London and


LLM from University Malaya. He has trained potential lawyers for the
past 12 years in various institutions. His interest and passion lies in the
area of training and development, his specialty being Personal
Development and Empowerment, Emotional Quotient, Communication skills, Vision &
Mission, Change Management, Customer Service and Leadership. His approach in training is
clear, structured and is delivered in a way where participants will be able to grasp it with
the greatest ease.
He is currently working on a book about Individual Evolution and the laws of Achievement.
His personal mission is to instill a sense of morality and ethical values into organizations and
