IIG Atlanta

Meeting Minutes
April 16th, 2011
I. Call to order
Bob Blaskeiwicz called to order the regular meeting of the Independent
Investigations Group, Atlanta at Eighteen Hundred Hours Fifty-Three Minutes
on April 16th, 2011 in Manuel’s Tavern.

II. Roll call


Blake Smith conducted a roll call. The following persons were present:

III. Approval of minutes from last meeting


Robert Blaskeiwicz Moved that we approve the minutes from the last meeting.
Seconded by Vandy Beth Glenn.
The minutes were approved as read.

IV. Open issues


a) Robert Blaskeiwicz Moved that Laura Ross be appointed Treasurer. Eve
Seivert Seconded. All in Favor. None opposed. Motion Carried.
b) PO Box still needs to be set up preferably within the city limits of Atlanta.
Vandy Beth Glenn suggested PO Box should be near our regular meeting
place, perhaps Manuel’s.

Robert Blaskeiwicz called for any New Business.


V. New business
a) Robert Blaskeiwicz Moved that Scott Little be appointed Training
Coordinator. Vandy Beth Glenn Seconded. All in Favor. None opposed.
Motion Carried.

b) Web Czar Derek Colanduno reminded members to email their preferred


contact information for the IIG Atlanta website.

c) It was queried who in the group would like to blog on the IIG Atlanta website.
Tim Farley, Robert Blaskeiwicz and Adam Levenstein expressed interest in
being official IIG Atlanta bloggers.

d) We are waiting to hear back from IIG Headquarters as to advice regarding


corporate or non-profit status.

e) It was suggested that Treasurer Laura Ross along with Web Czar Derek
Colanduno implement a Paypal system for dues paying on the IIG Atlanta
website before the next official meeting.

f) Web Czar Derek Colanduno needs to implement forums and discussion


boards on the website ASAP. There should be a forum section just for the
Steering Committee that is private.

g) Robert Blaskeiwicz mentioned that we should be able to get some good


media appearances in soon with local affiliates.

h) It was Moved that Tim Farley be appointed Media Whore. Motion


Seconded by Robynn McCarthy. All in Favor. None opposed. Motion
Carried.

i) The first responder, Robynn McCarthy will utilize Google Voice as a means
for challenge applicants to contact IIG Atlanta by phone.

j) The Publishing Pooh-Bah, Vandy Beth Glenn will be putting together media
packs and potential flyers to help spread the word about IIG Atlanta and the
Challenge.

VI. Adjournment
Blake Smith adjourned the meeting at Nineteen Hundred and Fifteen Minutes.
