Summary
Accurately and efficiency ring on register, maintaining all cash and media. Prepare, pack, label, and merchandise items according to Red Apple policy. Ensure that stock levels are maintained at all times, and that all products are fresh and properly displayed. Inspect quality of items in displays, cases, shelves, etc. by checking relevant information (e.g., expiration, born-on, pull, sell by, point of origin) and pull out-of-date, spoiled, or stale items. Responsible for providing products and services that meet the requirements of customers throughout store, including the usage of proper phone etiquette, answering customer questions, and communicating with management. Learn and perform the duties of similar positions in other departments as required. Assist in and maintain cleanliness of work area (for example, register, equipment, utensils) and floor. Learn and perform the tasks of the department manager in their absence (Full time Associates only).
High School diploma / G.E.D. equivalent or currently enrolled in high school or GED Program. Must be willing and able to work flexible shifts as required (day, evening, weekend, holiday). Summary

Summary
Assist in supervising front end employees by assigning duties, communicating goals, providing feedback and follow-up, and monitoring performance. Maintain current knowledge of Red Apple office and cash control procedures and policies relating to cash reports, register checkups, deposits, and checks, and recording of overages/shortages. Provide products and services that meet the requirements of customers at all times, including using proper phone etiquette, answering customers' questions, ensuring customers receive satisfactory service, addressing customer concerns/comments, and resolving customer issues. Follow and ensure adherence to all store rules and company policies. Maintain company records and figures, and assist in maintaining adequate security to control cash, shrink, and dishonesty. Perform and fulfill all roles within department as needed to fill in for associates or assist others during busy times, such as providing register support and helping to resolve escalated customer service complaints related to register transactions. Must have experience as a general clerk or equivalent experience in a related job. 1 year supervisory/managerial experience preferred but not required.
