Girl Scouts seek donations for recycled clothing event

Members of Girl Scout Troop 8667 of Denton are seeking donations for a recycled clothing event from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday at the Denton Service Center, 2317 W. University Drive, Suite 167. Troop members will be at the service center from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday to accept donations, said parent volunteer Judy Clements. Gently used clothing for all ages is needed. "They'll take as many items as they can get;' she said. Scouts will sort donations by size in preparation for the pub- . lie event on Saturday.
