Manager Systems Engineering (2008-2010) Managed and collaborated with a team of systems engineers and disaster recovery specialists, supporting customers performing disaster recovery test exercises in a multi-platform environment. Established and promoted cross functional teams between the Customer Service, PC LAN, Network and Systems Engineering departments in the successful execution of over 350 disaster recovery exercises. Collaborated with systems engineers and disaster recovery specialists, promoting communication and processes for the successful setup, configuration, and execution of disaster recovery tests conducted by customers. Spearheaded projects and led systems engineers in the installation of IBM and Sun/STK tape libraries and stand-alone tape technologies. Worked on major project in the closure of 250,000 sq. ft. Data Center in Las Colinas, TX. Led projects for de-installation of legacy technology, reducing floor space usage, maintenance costs and power. Supervisor Systems Engineering (2004-2008) Led and worked hands on with a team of systems engineers and operations personnel, installing and configuring IBM z/Series processors, HDS & EMC Storage, IBM/STK tape technologies, and FICON directors. Guided troubleshooting of customer issues during testing exercises, including traditional and high availability solutions.
