Senior Tekla Detailer - Detailed Job Description Our main line of business involves the supply, fabrication, delivery

& erection of structural steelwork complete with roofing, cladding and all rainwater goods (such as gutters, downpipes etc). Job Description: We are seeking experienced Senior Steel Detailers who will manage a variety of steel detailing projects from start to completion. Key responsibilities will include developing and preparing erection drawings and structural steel shop detail fabrication drawings using Telka Structures. -Coordinates and manage steel detailing projects from conception to completion -Consults and works with our team of engineers and the fabrication team. -Generates advance or preproduction of standard forms of bill of materials -Carries out pre-detailing and design work -Builds and produces information models, engineering drawing and imports -Assembles drawings and erection plans -Generates anchor and embed layouts with templates and connection drawings -Ensures all completed drawings have all required information required to fabricate and erect structure as per contract -Completes documentation packages and drawing sets -Examines all drawings and check/verify drawings for conformity and errors -Ensures compliance with industry and British standards Job Requirements: -Completion of high school and prefer related technical certificate or diploma in Steel Detailing -Five years of experience working on a variety of detailing projects -Must possess Telka Structures training, expert knowledge and experience using Telka Structures -Demonstrated project management knowledge and experience -Strong computer detailing skills with precision and attention to detail -Strong team player orientation -Strong communication skills -Demonstrated ability to work under significant time pressures to meet project deadlines -Strong problem solving and analytical skills -Initiative and versatility to address unexpected challenges -Ability to read structural and architectural drawings -Ability to work on an individual basis, as well as in a team environment Other Information \ Conditions Probation period - months 3 Reporting to the Drawing Office Manager Job Location - Nairobi, Kenya.
