PRE-FABRICATED TIMBER FRAME & STRUCTURAL STEEL DETAILER

This position is responsible in producing detailed shop drawing for structural and architectural
works. Detailer will work with design team to ensure the designed structural and architectural
drawing are workable on site with regards to prefabrication and erection. Requires someone
who can read and interpret contract drawings, check drawings being released for fabrication
with knowledge of AISC, AWS, and NISD Standards.

Education/Qualification:

Degree / higher diploma in Construction / Building, Architectural/Structural

drafting or relevant trade background.
Overall Experience: 5+ years in pre-fabrication detailing
Relevant Experience: 5+ Yrs

Mandatory Skills: 

1. Knowledgeable in drawing software (CAD, SDS/2,Sketch-up, etc.),

2. Analytical and technical skills
3. Experience with steel fabrication and installation.
4. Expertise in Timber/paneling shop drawing
5. Working knowledge of AISC codes and standards
6. Attention to detail.
7. Good Communication Skills

Role & Responsibilities:

� Perform timber framing & structural steel detail checking to ensure the drawings
conform to the projection specifications, engineering requirements, AISC standards.
� Provide technical assistance to other team members as needed.
� Provide sketches, plans, designs and layouts.
� Provide detailing solutions to address various field fixes as they may arise
throughout the fabrication and installation of the steel members.
� Assist the team with any drawing support required to complete the drawing
approval, fabrication, or erection process to ensure excellence.
� Obtain and assemble data to complete architectural designs. Compile
measurements as necessary.
� Communicate with project managers, fabrication and installation crews.
� Ability to comprehend construction plans and specifications.
