MOTIVATING EMPLOYEES: LEADERSHIP STYLE

ANS 1.

Annie mulcahy create trust with employees after becoming CEO by appealing to employees with missionary zeal, in persons to save each dollar as if it is your own. She rewarded the employees with symbolic gestures as well as she gave off to all employees on their birthdays. She was hard working. She was measuring the result, tells the truth and was honest. Employees were also appreciating her truthfulness and straightforward style. They were believing her because she was a good leader as she was making personal sacrifices; conveying new sets of values. She was guiding or motivating their employees in the direction of established goals by clarifying role and task requirement.

ANS 2.

Yes, mulcahy has a mission for Xerox because when she become CEO of Xerox, the companys financial position was not good. Its stock price also dropped from $64 to $4.45 . She had undergraduate degree that to in English but she put emphasis to understand the companys b/s, debt structure, inventory, etc. she never gave up that is the most important factor of leadership. Employees can rely on her, and she had good judgment in handling situation.

Ans3.
According to me Mulcahy have so many qualities which were more effective the turn around at Xerox. Mulcahy have leadership quality. This, firstly reflects her optimistic approach. The fact that the structure of operation of the company had become outdated , she was still willing to bring about a revolutionary change and make the working environment dynamic. This reveals how daring she was and the exceptional risk-taking ability that she possessed . Apart form all these formal office operation, she was dynamic , she was working so hard, people felt obligated to work harder too. She was energetic too.

Ans4 .Mulcahy was very dedicated employee. She never


give up in worse condition. She always supported and inspired her employees. She was a true leader, she made soft efforts to make employees feel that the firm was their own. She was very straightforward and truthful and she worked so hard that employees also feel obligated her work hard too.
