Board meeting minutes of Milwaukee Area Woodturners August 6, 2012

In attendance: Jon Behnke, Dave Drickhamer, Sandy Sheahan, Jerry Tackes, Char Dee, Jim Andresen Next meeting will be Sept 10 due to Labor Day. Woodcraft will be having another Turn-4-Troop September 15. We have two volunteers to work with the demo committee. Jon picked up two dvds for the library while at Turn on Chicago. Char has been working on a survey to see what club members would like to see on future demos. The survey should be going out soon. We are looking into a better system for mounting cameras on the lathe for demos. Char will talk with the Saturday group to coordinate with them. Please dont park in front of the doors at Woodcraft. Lets leave these spots open for customers. We will check into AAW insurance to see what and who are covered. Should we continue to require AAW membership if the insurance does not cover us at meetings? There is $2947.92 in the check book.
