Overview and Application Process What is an IB Ambassador?


IB Ambassadors are an elite group of IB scholars that seek to grow the IB Program at Harding University High School. IB Ambassadors represent Hardings IB Program at Open House events, district-level events, and will host middle school scholars and prospective IB scholars on Shadow Days. IB Ambassadors are committed IB scholars that are successful in academics, extracurricular activities, and service to community.

Application Process
The application process for IB Ambassadors reflects the highly selective nature of the service role. The steps in the application process are as follows: Phase I: IB Scholars submit a completed application no later than 2:45 p.m. on Tuesday, October 9, 2012. The application should be submitted to Mr. Stucky in Student Services, B-126. Successful Phase I applicants will be notified by Friday, October 12. Phase II: IB Scholars complete an on-campus training (to be scheduled). Attendance at on-campus training is mandatory. Applicants must complete training pre-work and successfully complete a post-training assessment.
