Marketing Director

The Samaritan Center is a thrift store and social services agency meeting needs in the eastern part of Hamilton County. Our mission is to meet the basic physical, spiritual, and social needs of people in our area, using the ministry of Jesus as our model. We need a dynamic and self-motivated Marketing Director to join our team. The Marketing Director works in partnership with key management to help design and implement strategies and marketing campaigns to increase public engagement with the Samaritan Center at all levels. The Marketing Director will contribute by addressing the organizations image, making it more relevant, increasing external positive perceptions, and attracting new and diverse audiences. Responsibilities Design, write, and edit weekly, monthly, bimonthly, and annual publications Design fliers, brochures, programs, and other marketing/advertising materials for all departments Keep up-to-date with events and activities, sending photos and writing press releases for news sources when appropriate Prepare all marketing materials for annual and other campaigns Ensure that marketing strategies are executed consistently across all platforms Seek opportunities to increase visibility and connection to the community Keep website and social media presence up-to-date Skills and Requirements Bachelors in communications or related field Excellent oral and written communication skills Proficiency in InDesign and Photoshop, and an understanding of web design/Dreamweaver Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and complete them successfully and on time Self-motived, organized, attentive to details Eager to be involved in an organization that makes an impact on this community Send questions and/or resume and design/writing samples to info@theSamaritanCenter.net.
