Menu for Team Members:

All activities in the main dish and the specied number of side dishes must be completed by November 2, 2012. For your oral presentation, you may select among the side dishes and you may decide to do one of the desserts items, as well.

Main dishes (complete all)

1. Read the corresponding selection. 2. Present the plot of the story in an oral presentation. 3. Develop a short comprehension test (3 to 5 questions)

1. Give a full description of the main character, along with a list of words that best describe him or her. 2. Describe the setting of the story and create a poster or lego model to illustrate your presentation. 3. Show the main events of the selection in a comic strip. 4. Find Internet resources to support your presentation (videos, information about the author, images, etc). 5. Create a PowerPoint presentation about the theme of the selection.

Side dishes (choose 3)

Desserts (choose 1)

1. Write a letter to the author telling why you liked or didn't like the story. Give valid reasons for your opinion. 2. Give a choral reading of one part of the story. 3. Give your presentation dressed up as the characters. 4. Create a song about any element of the story or one of the characters.
