Silence of The Lambs Deconstruction

Title and Productions begin with some eery music of wind and string instruments. Becomes just strings when establishing shot begins. Establishing shot is off the woods, camera slowly descends, background music is birds and strings. Superimposed text shows Production Cast and Actors. Woman breathing heavily gets louder as she gets closer to the camera. Long distance shot. Shot to show her face and shoulders, how she looks, close shot. Tracking shot of her running away from the camera, which switches to in front, and then from the side, switching from medium shots to head shots. As well as a tracking shot of her feet through the leaves. Music is progressive. Panning shot around the obstacle net. All in one complete shot. J cut of sound at 2:50. Another establishing shot of more trees that descends as the sound of her running is apparent. Turns into establishing shot from her running as camera stops and she carries on.

J cut of helicopter noise at 3:25. Another long tracking shot of her going through the building. 3:50 is a panning shot of a shelf with liquids and plungers and rags on, which then the cameraman catches onto the protagonist again and begins a tracking shot (in the same shot) following her through again. Elevator starts off full, as is cut instantly to her getting out whilst it is empty, camera tracks her again rounds corners. Sound of conversation begins at 4:27 and fades away as she walks away from the room. Camera pans at 4:38 round room. Zooms into her face at 5:00 to show thoughts, music and facial expressions show feelings. The music is particularly sinister, and is in a minor key. Foreshadowing bad things. Over the shoulder shots at 5:50. No music from 6 minutes onwards to focus on speech. Speech is mixture of close-ups and over the shoulder shots, showing facial expressions from each other P.O.V or from a spectator of the conversation.
