Studio Policy

Tuition:

Semester tuition is divided into monthly installments. Each installment is due on the first scheduled lesson of each month. The student will be notified of any rate changes or costs for books and learning materials as they occur. Cash or check is accepted. Make checks payable to Genna Bain. If the need arises for the student to cancel or reschedule a lesson, the teacher should be notified as soon as reasonably possible. The student/parent is still responsible for the cost of any missed lessons. However, if the teacher cancels a lesson, a refund will be issued or a credit applied to the following months tuition installment. Make-up lessons may be scheduled at the teachers discretion.

Practice:

Practice is important! Every student is different, and therefore, students should practice as much time as it requires to master the weekly assignments. Practice time should generally increase as the difficulty of music increases. All students are expected to be prepared for lessons.
