Looking back at your preliminary task, what do you feel you have learnt in the progression from it to the

full product?
Looking back through my preliminary task I think I have learnt not only how to use to the soft ware to create a more professional looking product but also deepened my understanding of the conventions of magazines. I have learnt a great deal about how to take a vision into my head transform it into a draft and then how to create it using a Photoshop and InDesign. My preliminary task gave me a basic understanding of the conventions of magazine, which then helped my create my student magazine. Before beginning to create my final product I researched into various other music magazines building on my understanding from my preliminary task, this research then gave me guide lines when creating my own magazine. Also, when creating my student magazine in my preliminary task I was learned how to use Photoshop and InDesign, so when creating my music magazine I already had the basic knowledge giving me room to experiment and discover more features of the programmes. I think there a few improvements I could make to my music magazine which have been highlighted to me audience feedback however I am happy with my finished product and believe I have progressed greatly since creating my student magazine in my preliminary task.
