Looking back at your preliminary task (the continuity editing

task), what do you feel you have learnt in the progression from it to
the full product?
I certainly feel that the quality of not only my work but my skills has been
improved. My work now is definitely of a more professional standard than it
was previously. My skills particularly in Photoshop have increased dramatically.
I feel as though I can use it more efficiently, I am able to use it quicker and use
many tools on it to get the result I want. I have used the conventions of a
magazine a lot more so I feel like I am achieving a piece of work which is at a
professional standard. I feel more confident in designing and producing a
music magazine, I definitely have more knowledge and understanding in how
the process all works. In my previous work, typical conventions such as the
layout and the way colours work were against the conventions. My previous
work looked and seemed incomplete whereas my work which I have produced
now looks finished and of a good standard.
