100-Hour Challenge
INVENT * CREATE * INNOVATE
9am March 7 - 1pm March 11, 2013
Item Pick Up in Sellery Hall, A-Tower Classroom Deadline for entries is 1:00PM (submit online)

CONTEST
Create a valuable, innovative and/or socially beneficial product or service using repurposed materials provided by UW SWAP (Surplus With A Purpose):

$300 PRIZES
for each award category:

March 7th 9:00am-6:00pm March 11th

1) Attend the SWAP Item Pick Up at Sellery Hall to select pieces to be repurposed into your creation.

March 12th 4:30pm - March 14th 4:30pm


48-Hours for Peoples Choice Voting (online) Challenge Showcase and Award Reception (location TBA)

Most Creative Most Potential Social Value Most Potential Revenue Value Peoples Choice*
Links to entries will be posted online for public viewing and review by panels of judges.

2) Work alone or with a team to build and document your working prototype...have fun and be creative! 3) Submit and pitch your creation by posting a video or photo series to a public website.

March 14th 4:30pm-5:30pm

*The Peoples Choice prize of $300 will be awarded to the entry receiving the most votes between 4:30pm Tuesday March 12th and 4:30 pm Thursday March 14th (48 hours).

Contest Rules & FAQs:

No pre-registration is required! Just participate in the SWAP Item Pick Up and register online when you submit your final entry: a 3-minute video or 6 photos posted to public website. All participants must be currently enrolled students at UW-Madison. Both individuals and teams may enter; team captains must list all team members during registration.
