Anecdotal Record and Evaluation Childs name: Samuel Date: 30/1/2007 Setting: out side play area Observation

Samuel walked outside from the room and looked around the play ground. He then ran to the gate with children and came back to the middle of ground. He stepped up to the slide and climbed up the ladder with his legs and arms. When he got to the top of the slide, he sat on and looked at others who were playing with a ball. He jumped off ground with two feet together and started to follow the ball, running very fast. He picked up the baling his arms and ran to the sand pit. He put it on the ground and kicked it with his right foot to the strange. He came close to them and got one of them. He then rode on it. Lifting his right leg. He pedaled off on his tricycle to the end of ground and turned the handle to opposite side to change direction. Evaluation Samuel appears to be interested in playing with ball and he is also able to control his direction as he seemed to have no difficulty handling his tricycle.
