Moving Beyond AbuseA Night of Celebration

Thursday, May 1st at 6pm - 8pm Piscataway Senior Center, 700 Buena Vista Avenue, Piscataway Women Aware is the designated lead domestic violence agency in Middlesex County, NJ. Our mission is to end domestic violence in the lives of women, children, and men, and for over 33 years, we have provided clients with the protection and services they needed to pursue safe and healthy lives. We offer a comprehensive array of services in three locations that includes a 24hour hotline, emergency shelter, counseling and community support groups, childrens programs, legal advocacy, community education, and permanent supportive housing. In 2012, over 200 volunteers donated their time and talent to support our mission, increasing our capacity to meet the needs of our community and elevating the profile of our agency. As such, our volunteers are an essential part of our team and it is with sincere gratitude that we honor them during our upcoming, Moving Beyond AbuseA Night of Celebration reception.
