Preface
Management in the world is leading towards professionalization. The demand for professional managers is increasing day-by-day. To achieve professional competence, managers, both present prospective ought to be fully equipped with principles and theories of management. In present scenario MBA program is very important and useful to enter in the business world. The MBA program provides students with fundamental knowledge of business and organizational functions and activities, as well as an exposure to strategic thinking of management. In today's globalization world, where cut throat competition is prevailing in the market, theoretical knowledge is not sufficient. Beside this one need to have practical knowledge, which would help to individual in his/her carrier activities and it is true that "Experience is best teacher". MBA program gives theoretical knowledge as well as practical knowledge by providing study of current organizations. The main objective of Report making at M.B.A level is to develop skill in student by supplement to the theoretical study of business management in general. Organization Study helps to gain real life knowledge about the industrial environment and business practices. As a student of MBA -2 have selected Nestle Maggi which is one of the leading organizations in Industry.

Executive Summary
The report entitled on Nestle Maggi deals with the study of Maggi brand that was launched in India in the year 1983, by Nestle India Limited, which became synonymous with noodles. This report tries to analyze a real situation of Maggi to launch its products as a Healthy Product. The introduction provides the company background, operational & other important information provided by the company which would assist in taking the decision for the right brand extension strategy for Maggi.
