Planning and installation


Implementation planning
It is the contractors obligation and personal responsibility to check the description of services and the plans with regard to his/her performance guarantee within a sufficient time period before the start of work. All measurements must be taken on-site. The contractor must indicate, in writing, any potential concerns regarding the intended implementation before said implementation begins; in addition, the contractor must, in cooperation with the tenderee, establish the requirements to assume complete responsibility for his/her services. All materials used must be without defect and manufactured according to VDE regulations. They must be first-class, brand-name articles. All structural work must be carried out with suitable tools while ensuring the best possible care of the building. Take care that stacks and air ducts are not damaged during assembly. The creation of required cutouts in walls, ceilings and floors, etc. in finished parts must be done above ground.

Project and installation management


The contractor shall name a responsible and competent representative as project manager for all plants and/or technical jobs. The project manager must be designated within two calendar weeks after awarding of the contract at the latest. The contractor shall also name an installation manager who has the necessary and sufficient authority to manage the installation of the system on-site. Any removal or change in the installation manager is only permissible with the written approval of the local building management. The contractor must initiate all registrations/contact with authorities or inspection/monitoring agencies within the required timeframes. If the tenderees signature is required for said registrations, then the correspondingly prepared applications must be presented for signing. Acceptance or inspections certificates, etc. must be provided to the tenderee at no cost.
