Explore the conditions giving rise to crime, drug trafficking, and drug use in Latin America. With particular emphasis on hemispheric strategies to combat drug use and narcotics trafficking, this course examines the variety of strategies used to address problems related to drugs and crime as well as relevant international legal and human rights standards.
Prerequisites: English 101. In addition: sophomore standing or above; or permission of the
