Lesson Plan Title: There, Theyre, Their Number of Days Covered:1 Subject: Language Arts Grade Level: 3

Content to Teach: The purpose is to teach children the difference between Theyre, Their, and There. Specific Objectives: Students will be able to distinguish the difference between Theyre, Their, and There. Students will be able to create sentences using the proper word out of the 3. The goal is to give the students rules to remember. Activities: Students will be able to complete a worksheet in class filling in the blanks using There, Theyre, and Their. Assessment: Give students a set of of questions and have them put the correct word out of the three to complete the sentence. Modifications/ Accommodation: Students will have a picture to aid them with the different words. Students will be able to listen to the words and associations the coincide with the pictures Color coded cards to differentiate theyre, their, and there Breaks as needed Extra time Narrator Connections: The connections to be made will be made by breaking up the words for students and asking them to place the words the best to the knowledge. The lesson is teaching them that these words are delicate and has to be used properly. The lesson is connected to real world because they will know for future references how to use these words it strengthens their grammar.
