Theme
I think that the theme of this book is courage. I think the main theme is courage because I think that Stargirl would have needed least a little courage to be herself while everyone else hated her. I don't think she wanted to change herself because she loved how she was and she didn't want to waste herself on people who hated her. I think that was courageous.

Stargirls Change
She did it for you, you know. What? Gave up her self, for a while there. She loved you that much. What and incredibly lucky kid you were.

-This points out that Stargirl became Susan in the middle of the book for Leo, not for herself, and definately not for everyone else (the school).

Ukuleles and Rats

I think that Stargirl is really brave. I think so because playing ukuleles while singing to someone takes courage. I think that Star-girl doesn't really think that this takes cou-rage, since she does it all the time. I also think that Stargirl was very brave enduring Hillary's and everyone else's taunts. I felt very bad for Stargirl at the Hot Seat, but I don't think it affected her that much.

Just Got Owned

"She stopped and she sang "Happy Birthday." It was Hillary's name at the end of the song, but true to her word of the day before, she did not sing it to Hillary- she sang it to me. "

Loser Like Me Glee Cast

I think this song fits the theme because it is kind of about not caring what others think. I also think it fits because it has a high school edge to it.
