Reddam House Preparatory, Waterfall

Volume 1:1 2013 (18 - 24 January 2013)

18 January 2013 Dear Families, The careful planning that was put into place at the end of last year paid off when the children arrived well prepared for the New Year to begin. I was amazed that all the children were in their classes and lessons commenced at 8h15 on the first day of school. The last three days have been spent getting to know their new teachers, friends in their classes and sorting out the administration within each class. Many new procedures have been out into place this year and these will be communicated to all the parents in the weekly newsletters and via the teachers. Parents will receive the Extra/ Intra Mural Timetable and the Music Instrumental Programme early next week. All options and procedures will be explained in these letters. I have given the process and options careful consideration and with the input of all the specialist teachers and class teachers we have put together an amazing programme. Parents will also be given the opportunity to ask any questions at our Parent Information Evening which will be held on the 29th January 2013 at 18h00. Please diarize this date as you will be able to meet your childs teacher, all specialists will be introduced to the parents and all questions will be answered as far as possible. More details will follow next week. We had a lovely assembly as a Junior Preparatory Phase on Wednesday when all the teachers and specialist were introduced to the children. We are very fortunate to have such a dynamic teaching team at Reddam Waterfall. We are looking forward to an amazing term and year with the Families. Warm Regards
