After reading chapter one, complete this activity by answering the questions and continuing to think about these questions has you continue to read the rest of the book. Reread page 9 and 10 where the book first mentions the bulldozers and sawyers. What inferences about the conclusion of the book do you make? Describe what you think the rain forest will look like at the end of the day.
