to 300 words) The article is about John W aterss movie called pink flamengos. This film was release in 1972 and the plot is about the effort of a drag queen who intent to keep her status. Waters decided to put that name to his film because he thought that the movie needed a normal title that was not flamboyant but a lot of people think that the film is about the tropical fowl. The fake birds were designed in 1957 and they are natives from Florida although the most of the people think that this plastic bird is from Massachusetts.

Don Featherstone sculpted a pink flamingo without models, he had to be guided by a national geographic photo. This plastic fowl took about two weeks to model almost all the bird. Featherstone said that have a pink flamengos in our houses is a way to mark the houses with a bit of elegance but what he thought change years later, by the 1980s the flamingos were the transitioning of the upper class and the lower class.

The plastic bird became an ornament of mockery and waters thought that the pink flamengos are a ornaments who should stay inside of the house.

I like this article because I love the animals and Ive never searched some information about that fowl but I think that bird is very curious. The pink flamingos are not used here in Peru to decorate the houses; Ive only seen some elves in some houses near to my home. In my opinion the pink flamengos represent happiness and they adorn the houses. I dont know why some people are not agree with keep some of this sculptures in their houses.
