bath, but in that day I did not do that.
I always went to school by my motorcycle. But in that day, forgot
where I put the key. So, I went to the school by public transportation. It made
me took a longer time. I arrived at school at 7.15 am, I ran to my class but I
saw my teacher has stood in front of the class to teach. I entered to my class
and of course my teacher was angry to me because I came late.
It was my bad experience and I hoped I would not do that again.

not know how to climb up the tree. So being led by his common sense, he

 Elephants are the largest land animals on Earth, and
they’re one of the most unique-looking animals, too. With their
characteristic long noses, or trunks; large, floppy ears; and wide,
thick legs, there is no other animal with a similar physique.
Most experts recognize two species of elephant: the Asian
elephant (Elephas maximus) and the African elephant (Loxodonta
africana), who live on separate continents and have many unique
features. There are several subspecies that belong to one or the
other of these two main species, though experts argue over how
many subspecies there are and whether or not they constitute
separate species.
African elephants live in sub-Saharan Africa, the
rainforests of Central and West Africa and the Sahel desert in Mali,
according to National Geographic. Asian elephants live in Nepal,
India and Southeast Asia in scrub forests and rainforests.
 Once upon a time, a happy family lived in a kingdom in Priangan Land. They were
a father in the form of a dog, his name was Tumang, a mother who was called Dayang Sumbi,
and a child who was called Sangkuriang. One day, Dayang Sumbi asked her son to hunt with
his lovely dog, Tumang. After hunting all day, Sangkuriang became desperate and worried
because he hunted no deer. Then he thought of shooting his dog. After that, he took the dog’s
liver and carried it home.
Soon, Dayang Sumbi found out that it was not deer lever but Tumang’s dog. So, She was furious
and hit Sangkuriang’s head. In that incident, Sangkuriang got wounded, and a scar was cast
away from their home.
Years passed, and Sangkuriang traveled to many places and finally arrived at a village. He met
a beautiful woman and fell in love with her. When they were discussing their wedding plans, the
woman looked at the wound on Sangkuriang’s head. It matched her son’s wound, who had left
several years earlier. Soon she realized that she had fallen in love with her son.
She couldn’t marry him, but how to say it? Then, she found the way. She needed a
lake and a boat to celebrate their wedding day. Sangkuriang had to make them one night before
sunrise. He built a lake. With dawn just a moment away, the boat was almost complete. Dayang
Sumbi had to stop it. Then, she lit up the eastern horizon with flashes of light. It made the cock
crowded for a new day.
Sangkuriang failed to marry her. He was outraged and then kicked the boat. It felt
over and became the mountain of Tangkuban Perahu Bandung.
 Material:
• 2 plates of rice
• 3 cloves of garlic, finely chopped
• 5 cloves of shallot, finely chopped
• MSG
• Salt to taste
• 1 egg
• Shrimp
• 20 cayenne peppers (you can add more if you want it to be spicy)
• 1 spring onion
• Cooking oil
• Crispy fried shallots
How to make:
1. Grind the garlic, shallots, cayenne pepper, and salt smoothly.
2. Heat the cooking oil. After that, stir-fry chicken eggs and shrimp have been prepared. Then,
add the ground spices that have been ground earlier and stir-fry until you can smell the
delicious aroma.
3. Add the rice and stir with the ground spices. Slice the scallions evenly and add them to the
rice.
4. Stir again briefly. After everything is almost cooked, add MSG to taste.
5. Remove and serve on a plate while warm with fried shallots.
 Yesterday, my family and I went to the National Zoo and
Aquarium to visit the new Snow Cubs and the other animals. In the
morning, when we got to the Zoo and Aquarium there was a great
big line, so we had to wait awhile to get in.
After we entered the zoo, we went straight to the enclosure
for the Snow Cubs. My brother and I were so excited to see them.
They were so cute and playful. At lunchtime Dad decided to cook a
bbq. He cooked sausages so we could have sausage sandwiches.
My Mom forgot the tomato sauce so we had to eat them plain. In
the afternoon, we visited the aquarium. My brother was excited to
see the sharks and the tropical fish. At the end of the day when we
left we were going to go and get ice cream but we decided we were
too tired so we drove straight home, but of course I was very
happy.
 My room is in second floor, next to my big
sister’s room. My room is painted light grey.
There is big bed inside my room where I sleep
every day. I put some pictures on my desk. There
are my family picture, my picture with my
friends, and my pictures with my pet, Luna, a
persian cat. I also have drawers where I put all
my clothes inside. My room is not big, but it is
the best place in my house for me
 Sukarno was the first president of Indonesia. He was born in 6 June 1901 and died
in 21 June 1970. He led his country to fight against Netherlands and the man who proclaimed
the independence. Sukarno was a prominent leader of nationalist movement during the colonial
period. He spent more than a decade under the detention before released by the Japanese force.
Ir. Sukarno and all his nationalist fellows collaborated to collect support in
spreading nationalist ideas. When Japan surrender the Indonesian independence was declared by
Sukarno and Mohammad Hatta on 17 August 1945. At the same time, Sukarno was appointed as
the president and Mohammad Hatta as vice president. After became president, Sukarno had to
fight once again against resisting Dutch re-colonization efforts.
After parliamentary democracy chaos in 1957, Sukarno put an autocratic system
called Guided Democracy. It successfully ended the rebellions and instability which were
threatening the country. In the early 1960s, Sukarno brought the country to the Soviet by giving
protection and support to the Indonesian Communist Party.
Unfortunately, the 30 September movement in 1965 ended the communist era and
Sukarno’s position as president was replaced by Suharto, the man who became president for 32
years. After Suharto in charged, Sukarno was exiled to Bogor and spent the rest of his life there.
 I had the best experience of my life in 2015. I participated
in Asian-African Student Conference in Bandung.
I was interested in Asian-African Conference history and
dreamed to be a part of it.
I prepared an essay and idea to be presented at that event.
The other participants also helped me and gave me some idea for
our comittee discussion.
I didn’t talk too much, but it was a good experience for
me.

 We all know that rain is primary source of fresh water for most
areas of the world, providing suitable condition for diverse ecosystems. Rain
is water that descends from the sky through several processes until the rain
occurs. Do you know how does rain happen?
The phenomenon of rain is actually a water circle. The concept of
water circle includes the sun heating in the Earth’s water surface and
causing the water surface to evaporate. Earth’s water includes water from
lake, river, and ocean. Then, the water vapor experiences condensation and
becomes condensed vapor.
Condensed vapor is formed from droplets so that when the air
temperature is higher, it makes the droplets gather, condensed and formed
into clouds. The presence of winds helps clouds move and gather in other
places that have lower temperatures. At that time, the droplets become
heavier and unstoppable and cause the droplets to fall so that there is rain.
If the droplets drop in an area with very cold temperatures, the
droplets will drop as snow. However, not all rain reaches the surface. Some
evaporates while falling through dry air. This is called Virga, a phenomenon
which is often seen in hot, dry desert regions.

 In this modern era, there are a lot of people who still can’t speak
English. Actually, there are many benefits of learning English. Here are two
reasons why it’s important.
First, English opens new career opportunities. These days, many
companies need employees who can communicate with clients from around
the world. Usually, it means someone who can speak English because
English is an international language. Being a bilingual person, you can get
the opportunity to work in a global company.
Second, English tests can get you into schools. You probably
already know English tests such as TOEFL and IELTS. If you learn English
well enough to pass English tests like TOEFL, you can study in English-
language universities across the globe. Although you aren’t going to study
abroad, learning English can help you in making the thesis because there
are a lot of sources use English languages.
There are indeed many other benefits of learning the English
language. But, the two reasons above help us to believe that English is
important for our life and by learning English languages we can

 Many parents are worried their children will have to return to
school in the near future. It is because some local governments have
included plans for reopening schools in the new normal policy. For example,
Central Java Education and Culture Office will enforce the implementation of
the new normal in its region starting July 2020.
Some options emerges such as imposing a shifting system,
limiting the number of students, and implementing existing health protocols.
On the other hand, epidemiologist dr. Dicky Budiman advises not
to open the school until the situation gets better. He says that schools
reopening is risky, and it probably rises to the second wave of the
coronavirus. The students can go back to schools only if the preparation is
done and screening process is fulfilled.
Furthermore, if the screening process is not fulfilled, schools
reopening is not recommended for it is dangerous.
In the end, Offline School can only be done if the situation in our

Tips mencari main idea

Carilah kalimat yang menyatakan gagasan utama.

Kalimat ini biasanya berada di awal paragraf atau di

 Kadang-kadang main idea tidak akan dinyatakan
secara langsung dalam bentuk satu kalimat. Ini
disebut ide utama tersirat.
 Hindari detail. Maksudnya adalah carilah

To begin with mobile phones are necessary in the case of emergencies. For instance, if you fall
down a set of stairs in a building and are badly injured and can’t reach a pay phone, it is handy to
have one to use. Or, if your car breaks down in the middle of the night in a strange neighborhood, it

My other main reason is that mobile phones are convenient for business people. For
