National Teacher Appreciation week Teacher Appreciation Week takes place the first full week of May. The first Tuesday of the week is National Teacher Day. This is a week to recognize, honor and appreciated teachers. 05/07/13 National Teacher Day (co sponsored by StWEA and AFT 212) We invite all teachers to join us for cake and refreshments. Please come to the Teacher Education office at M289 from 9:00 am to 2:00pm Book Bag Raffle: ticket Sale and Display Tickets will be sold at the S-building on the 2nd floor Atrium between 12:00 and 2:00pm. Book bag prizes will be displayed during the event. 05/08/13 Book Bag Raffle: Ticket Sale and Drawing Tickets will be sold at the S-building on the 2nd floor Atrium between 11:00 and 1:00pm. Drawing for the book bags well be held at 1:00pm 05/09/13 Anti-Bullying Presentation Guest speaker, Linda Lee, will give a DVD presentation on the movie Bully. Its a must see presentation will l be held in room S-120, from 9:00 to 11:00am and 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. Bring classes or come by yourself. Learn about Bullying. Discuss Prevention. 05/10/13 HEP Hygiene Drive donations last week This is the last week to donate hygiene products we are collecting hygiene products for MPS homeless children. White boxes are located at the downtown campus in the Sbuilding, H-building, C-building, T-building and M-building. Have you donated yet??? Help us to make a difference in a childs life. White boxes are located around the downtown campus in all buildings. The last day is Friday May 10th.
