Second public meeting to discuss the design of the General Development Plan for:

Tubman Charter School Joint Use Improvements


Meeting Date: May 15, 2013 Meeting Time: 6:30 p.m. Meeting Location: Colina del Sol Recreation Center - Gymnasium 5319 Orange Ave. San Diego, CA 92115 What is the purpose of the meeting?
Estrada Land Planning and the City of San Diego will conduct the second workshop for the Joint Use Facility. Concept plans will be presented based on feedback received from the first community workshop and community survey results. Members of the public are invited to participate in the concept discussion and share their ideas. The public will have the opportunity to review and comment on proposed amenities and design layout.

Where is the project located?


The project boundaries are located along Mohawk St, 68th St., Saranac St. and 69th St. in the College Area Community within Council District 9.

What is being proposed?


This project proposes the design and construction of an approximately 1.2 acre Joint Use Facility at Tubman Charter School. Improvements may include a multi-purpose sports field, multi-purpose courts, walkways, landscaping and accessibility upgrades.
