As this year rapidly comes to an end we are busy finishing up some of our units and completing assessments so we can
Reading- reading poetry , visualizing and jotting our thinking

have more freedom in the last weeks of school to work on projects that are students' choice and interest. I have completed the math assessment for the end of the year and in the next couple of weeks I hope to complete reading, writing, and science assessments.

Math- finishing unit 8, Twos, Fives, and Tens and will begin unit 9- Blocks and Boxes

Science - Forces and motion- learning about push, pull, force, motion, friction and slope.

Please remember that our school has a subscription to Reading Eggs and Reading Express that is free for students to use.

Writing- writing poetry and using kid pix to illustrate our ISPY books

They just need to know their lunch number to log on. If you have any trouble let me know and I can send home their log in.

Spelling - We will be working on suffix endings and the trick words-work, word, write, being, their, first, look, good, new
