PRACTICAL-10 Online Test Management


AIM: Contouring and to print project report of the project Online Test Management. STEPS: 1. Start 2. Open Microsoft Project 2007. 3. Create tasks and set the duration, start date, end date, predecessor and their resources for each tasks. 4. Create tasks such as Feasibility Study, Requirement study, Designing, Coding, Unit Testing, Integration testing and Implementation. 5. Set predecessors for Designing, Coding, Integration Testing and Implementation tasks. 6. Select Resource Sheet from VIEW 7. Create resources that are necessary for the project 8. Allocate resources to each task. 9. View Gantt Chart of the project that shows critical tasks. 10. From Resource sheet, the resources that are highlighted in red colour are the resources that are over-allocated 11. Select different Work Contour in Assignment Information under PROJECT. 12. Different Work Contour options 12.1 Flats: Works for only 8hrs/day. 12.2 Back Load: Workload gradually increases as project progresses and is at its peak in the end of project. 12.3 Front Load: Workload gradually decreases as project progresses and is at its lowest in the end of project. 12.4 Late Peak: Workload gradually increases as project progresses and is at its peak just before completion of project but on the last date workload is low. 12.5 Early Peak: Workload is at its peak in early phase of project but gradually decreases as project progresses. 12.6 Double Peak: Workload is in peak during two times of the project. 12.7 Bell: Workload is at peak in middle of the project. 12.8 Turtle: Workload is lowest at start and end of project but is at peak in-between them. 13. Select Report under REPORT to view different reports of the project. 14. Stop.
