Comparison between tungsten and efficient bulbs.

Type operation Efficacy (Lumens per watt) Service life (hour( Energy saving ratio*

Incandescent light is produced by a white, hot coil of tungsten wire that glows when heated by electrical current. Of all the electricity these lamps consume, 90% goes to producing heat, and Incandescent bulbs only 10% to producing light. Mercury vapor lamps consist of internal tube made of quartz and filled with mercury vapor and ideal gas. Internal tube is surrounded Mercury vapor lamps with outer envelop to keep its temperature high. The outer lamp is coated with fluorescent powder to improve its intensity. Red color is common color for these lamps. Fluorescent lamp consists of a tube filled with organ gas at low pressure, low quantity of mercury and two poles coated with tungsten. Tube is equipped with starter and current control. Fluorescent lamp is available in 20, 18, 40, 36 watt respectively. operation

Compact fluorescent lamps

Compared to incandescent bulbs, compact fluorescent lamps are characterized by 10 times in Service life, 75% less in energy consumption and low heat emission. They are used in malls, offices, and other locations. They have threaded bases that allow customer to retrofit them to existing fixtures. Halogen lamps are a specialized type of incandescent bulb. They are filled with halogen gas.

Because its red color can penetrate fog, it is the best in 80-140 case of fogging, but it is not appropriate in locations where real colors need to be identified. High pressure lamp is characterized by high efficacy. Therefore it is used in factories and
