 The start of a river is called a source.
 All sources start very narrow.
 Most sources start high up in the mountain
or hill.
 As the water bends, the banks start to
erode and the process of deposition takes
place too.
 Rivers usually end up in the sea or a lake
where the water gets evaporated and the

is near the middle part of the river it is then
called the middle course. And obviously the
final course is called the lower course.
Deposition
 Deposition is where the rocks and sand
from all the erosion is thrown up on shallow
land. Then more and more of the rocks get
pilled up on it and then forms more land.
