Decomposition
Chemical, bacteriological, and physical changes occur in buried refuse. The temperature rises over 600 C within 7 days dan kills all the pathogens and hastens the decomposition process. It takes 2-3 weeks to cool down. Normally it will take 4-6 months for complete decomposition of organic matter into an innocuous mass.
