Sub: Harassment and discrimination shown to BSNL opted absorbed ITS Officer in Kerala Circle-reg. Respected Sir, Shri. S.Jyothisankar, ITS , is the only ITS officer in Kerala Circle, opted BSNL on the last cut-off date for exercising option as per the directive of the Government of India, and the presidential order has already been issued approving his absorption in the Company. He is functioning as GMTD Trivandrum with effect from June 2010, just two years back, and has not completed circle tenure, post tenure or even station tenure. It is undisputed that his capability, efforts and integrity are well appreciated by all. His contribution in revenue addition, profit making and expenditure reduction are well known to all connected with activities of BSNL in Kerala. Despite all, he has been a target of certain vested interested group having personal enmity, who propagated false allegations with malafied intentions. Now it is noticed that the officer is under orders to send out of Kerala Circle through an untimely transfer, which is not justifiable in terms of any of the clauses contained in BSNL Executives transfer policy. We understand that the transfer order issued vide No. 315-06/2012-Per.I(Pt)/2 dated October 4 2012 from your good office is nothing but the aftermath of an act of revenge inflicted on him by a rival group . We can only view it as a harassment to an ITS officer voluntarily opted BSNL at this juncture. We solicit your immediate kind intervention in this matter to ensure that the absorbed ITS officer is not shifted outside the circle till the circle tenure is completed by him. It is also brought to your kind notice that there are several other ITS Officers who have already completed Circle tenure.

It is therefore, requested to kindly implement Inter Circle transfers in their cases instead of victimizing the officer, who has not even completed his post tenure as GM Trivandrum.
