    The IDA (Industrial Dearness Allowance) for the employees of the CPSEs including BSNL whose wages were revised with effect from 1-1-2007 has crossed the 50% limit of the basic pay with effect from 1-10-2011 when it reached 52 per cent of the basic pay from the previous 47.2 %. It is therefore requested to cause necessary initiative for settling the issue of merger of 50% DA merger with basic pay with all consequential benefits, with effect from 1-10-2011.
