I am the sole graphic designer for California State University, Chicos student recreation center. I regulate 25 televisions around the gym and their digital signage. Im also responsible for designing house ads, posters, flyers, posters, and client ads if needed. I am currently Art Director for The Orion, California State University, Chicos official student-run newspaper. I oversee the design of the paper and maintain consistency, readability, and style. I also communicate with our printer and ensure the paper is sent on time every week. Other duties include hiring and training staff, designing special inserts, creating house advertisements, and working at odd hours. Im currently involved in freelance work, and have done numerous projects for a wide variety of clients. These projects include logos, icons, infographics, web design, and business cards. This endeavor has made me very skilled at communicating and ensuring clients are completely satisfied with the work I provide for them. Apple Inc. Warehouse Worke r June 2011 June 2011 This was a position where I worked out of the Apple warehouse in Elk Grove, California. I was responsible for logging defective or broken hardware parts. We were expected to go through a certain number of parts per day, giving me experience in meeting quotas and staying alert. I participated in a 75 hour internship with the California Arts Council, located out of downtown Sacramento, California. Most notably, I aided in the design and data entry of a festivals database, where users can search for arts festivals by location, time, type of festival, price, etc. Carmichael Recreation & Park Soccer Referee August 2007 October 2007

Working as a soccer referee was my first job. I ensured games ran smoothly, dealt with unruly parents, and made sure I was well versed in the rules.
