Boarding/implementation a new production workers

The application process new production workers in plant Jaroslaw begin from practical test which we organize in every Thursday and Friday. This test check manipulative skills of candidate for production worker. Over test candidate has to redo operation which was demonstrated by trainer. Test result is write in special application form by trainer. If candidates gets good grade, they will get a job. In our plant we create shortlist candidate for production workers. Boarding At the beginning the new group of workers have train session about different topics. The new workers train from: 1. occupational safety and health 4 hours 2. quality management 1 hour 3. continuous improvement process (PDCA i Housekeeping) 1 hour 4. labor law 0,5 hour Trainers From 2011 in our plant we implement a special program for new production workers. Trainer is a person who complete a special six-month course and know how learn new employees their work. Furthermore trainers meet at least once a month with specialist from quality department.

Trainer supervise a new worker from first day his job. At the begging workers learn how control sewing machine or cutter. After that they post to right work station where they are in the hands of inside line trainer. Work results of new workers are write in special progress cards and grade by foreman. Monthly work results are observe by foreman, trainer and HR specialist whose decide about further employment. Trainer is look after maximum four new workers at the same time. Time for training: 1. 2-3 hours in every day in first week 2. Max. 1 hour after four weeks 3. Training = teaching new worker + checking results of his work (min. once per two hours) Also trainers introduce new workers with other employees, shows specific of operation on line and quality requirements. The timescale of this course is forecast about four weeks.
