HIRING PROCESS

IDENTIFICATION OF VACANT POSITION

Conducting job analysis done by Human Resource Manager to identify lacking of employee or position.
The latter must also evaluate the number of applicants need to be employed, the cost-benefit of the
reqruitment process and taking all the accounts of the advantages and disadvantages of opening a job
vacancy.

DEVELOPMENT OF JOB DESCRIPTION

As the missing job position is identified creation of job description is needed. Job description decribes
the general tasks of the job, related duties and responsibilities of the position, specification of
qualifications or skills needed by the person in the job, and information about the tools, equipment amd
work aids to be used.

JOB ANNOUNCEMENT

The position of vacancy will be posted through Sfacino Slaughterhouse website, Valenzuela City website
since the local government has now its own website for those who are seeking for a job and will also be
posted to Animal Product Development Center Abbatoir's premise.

APPLICATION

Applicant’s resume can be submitted through Sfacino Slaughterhouse’s email,


sfacinoslaughterhouse@gmail.com or through personal submission in the Slaughterhouse premises. Just

PRELIMINARY SCREENING

Every applicant’s resume will be screened by Human resource manager. Information stated with their
resume must be true and must coincide with the qualification, knowledge, skills, abilities, interest and
experience mentioned in the job description. Those who meet the standard will proceed to the next
step.

INTIMATION
QUALIFIED APPLICANTS WILL RECEIVE A NOTICE THROUGH CALL OR EMAIL FOR THE SCHEDULE OF FINAL
SCREENING.

EMPLOYMENT TEST

Applicants who confirmed their attendance for final screening will be given an exam. Employment test is
composed of identification of tools and equipment used in slaughtering also the step by step procedure
of the latter.

EMPLOYMENT INTERVIEW

On the same day after taking employment test, applicants will have their interview with the Human
Resource manager.

FINAL SCREENING

Applicants test result, employment interview performance as well as background investigation of each
applicant will be evaluated by the HR Manager. Those who passed will receive a call or email to pass
certain requirements on a specified date and still subject to verification.

REQUIREMENTS ARE VERIFIED

Once the requirements are verified, qualified applicants will be contacted via call or email for contract
signing and employee orientation.

PLACEMENT ON THE JOB

Hired applicant/s will be introduced to his/her workmates on the first day of his/her work.

LABOR TRAINING PROGRAM

Sfacino slaughterhouse will be conducting labor training programs for every employee to strengthen
their skills, knowledge and good conduct. These are some of the programs:

EMPLOYEE ORIENTATION
Before an employee will be placed on the job he/she will be oriented with the background information
of the company. Topics to be discussed include overview of the company, company policies and
procedures, company goals, objectives and core values, employee compensation, safety and a tour
inside the facilities.

GENERAL MEETING

This will be conducted regularly every month. The company will be discussing important matters such as
the condition of the business, revised rules and regulations, problems arise within the organization. This
monthly meeting will also serve as an open-forum to raise questions, complains, hatred and also to
settle disputes.

TEAM BUILDING PROGRAM

This will be conducted once a year which may take 1-2 days. The objectives of this program are

 boosts creativity and innovation,
 increase employee satisfaction that can help to reduce turnover,
 Identifies a team’s strengths and weaknesses

SEMINARS

This program is usually about enhancing personality development, introduction of newly acquired
equipment or technology and also introduction of new laws, policies, standards, rules and regulations
about slaughtering. This labor training program aims to implement values for bridging and harmonizing
employees, to increase knowledge, and Learning management of values.

PERIODICAL EXAMINATONS

This exam is a test assessment of company goals, objectives, core values, business operation system,
and policies and procedures. The objective of this program is to evaluate if employees are still with the
standard of the business operation. If not, employee must undergo further training program such as
orientation and seminars.
