accurate profile of persons, events, or situations. The reason for this choice was based on objective to examine the relationship between customer satisfaction and service quality in food industory. Is there a relationship between service quality and customer satisfaction. This means relationships exist among these variables either directly or indirectly, we are testing the associations between the variables and not seeking new insights or establishing casual relationships. Also the research used descriptive design since a descriptive study establishes only association between variables which is what we are trying to do; creating an accurate profile of a situation about the relationship between customer satisfaction and service quality. Another reason to have designed this research as a descriptive study was because we are not making any attempt to change the behaviour of the variables measured. This study focuses on food industry and service quality evaluation was from the customers perspectives. Sampling techniques provide a range of methods that enable one to reduce the amount of data needed for a study by considering only data from a sub-group rather than all possible elements. Sampling technique used for this project is random sampling. Probability sampling is a process of sample selection in which elements are chosen by chance methods. The universe taken for this research is Chandigarh
Evaluation of customers is conducted through Their views of the meaning of service quality. We will use a questionnaire data from customers . The reason for this choice of data collection tool is because the research method is a quantitative method : questionnaire is best way to collect quantitative data. The scale used in the questionnaire is likert scale. To test the hypothesis we will use quantitative data analysis tools. The data collected will be analysed using SPSS software.
The main purpose of this study is to investigate how respondents will be influence by factors of customer loyalty.
