Chapter III

RESEARCH METHODOLOGY

This chapter presents the research design, locale of the study, research instrument,

respondents of the study, statistical treatment of data, data gathering procedure and data analysis.

Research Design

This study determined the Level of Customers Satisfaction in Food Online Ordering

System. The purpose of this is to explore the measurement of satisfaction of customers. This

study made use of a descriptive-correlational design. The descriptive design is used to describe

the profile of the customers. On the other hand, correlational design focused on collecting data to

determine the relationship between two or more variables under investigation. In this study, the

data were used to correlate or find relationship between the profile and level of customers

satisfaction in food online ordering system.

Locale of the Study

This study was conducted at Tuguegarao City, Cagayan for the month of October 2021 to

January 2022.

Research Instrument

The instrument used in gathering the data needed is a research-made questionnaire to

explore the profile and level of customers satisfaction. This instrument is use to collect all the

the information on how will costumer satisfy . (paki-edit tong last sentence)

Respondents of the Study


The respondents of this research were the Customers who are using Food Online

Ordering System in Tuguegarao City, Cagayan.

Data Gathering Procedure (paki-edit to)

In order to conduct this study, the researchers follow the following steps:

The researchers asked for the permission of the school principal and the barangay captain

of Naruangan, Tuao, Cagayan to conduct the study. Upon approval, the researchers let the

respondents participate in the study through answering the questionnaire made by the

researchers. The data gathered were interpreted and analyzed through the use of statistical

treatment of data. Lastly, the researchers gave conclusions and recommendations from the data

gathered.

Statistical Tool –(pati ito pa edit)

The statistical tools that were used in the analysis and interpretation of the data to be

gathered in the study are the following:

Frequency and Percentage Distribution. The frequency distribution can be determined

by getting the number of responses from the descriptive scale provided. The percentage

distribution is computed by dividing frequency by n and multiplying the quotient by 100.

Weighted Mean. The weighted mean is used to get the average perception of the

respondents of the feasibility of offering the course as-statistics. To understand better the

meaning of weighed mean, the following arbitrary scale will be use.


Likert-Type Scale. The likert-type scale provides a quantitative basis for interpreting

results of the qualitative ranking given by the respondents to the statement posed to them.
