I want to apply for both MT (Tech) and MT (Adm n), can I do it? Ans. Yes, a candidate can apply for both MT (Tech) and MT (Adm n), if he/she has eligibility for both. For this purpose a candidate has to register for both the posts with separate registration fee and separate em ail ids. 1 5. Can I apply for two disciplines of MT Tech/Adm n? Ans. While a candidate can appear for both MT (Tech) and MT (Adm n), it is not possible to apply for m ore than one discipline within one stream . For exam ple, a candidate cant apply for both m arketing and HR within MT (Adm n) or for Electrical and Instrum entation within MT (Tech). 1 6 . Where the registration slip is to be sent? Ans. The candidates are not required to send any docum ent after registration. Howev er, the candidates are adv ised to retain the Registration slip as well as Pay -in-Slip as the sam e can be dem anded for v erification purpose at any tim e during the course of recruitm ent process. 1 7 . I hav e m ore than 6 0% m arks in MBA, but 58% m arks in graduation degree. I belong to general category , am I eligible to apply ? Ans. No. For the post of MT (Adm n) a general category candidate should hav e m inim um 6 0% m arks both in graduation as well as MBA degree. 1 8. I hav e done MBA with specialisation In Finance. Am I eligible for MT (Finance)? Ans. No. For Finance Discipline, candidates with CA/ICWA qualification are only eligible to apply . 1 9 . What precautions should I take in pay m ent process ? Ans. While m aking pay m ent and filling up the general no. in the application form the following precautions need to be taken by each candidate : a) Candidate should only use the sy stem generated Pay -in-Slip, which will be av ailable for download, once a candidate fills in all his/her details for m aking pay m ent. b) Each sy stem generated pay -in-slip has a unique application no. The candidate should ensure that the Bank official enters that application no. in their sy stem while generating the unique journal no.

c) Ensure that the journal no. giv en by the Bank is legible and there is no am biguity about any digit of that num ber. d) While feeding the journal no. in the application form , double check it from the pay -inslip to ensure correct entry . e) Recheck the journal no and the branch code in the registration slip. The sy stem will prov ide option to edit the pay m ent details after pay m ent reconciliation with the bank. If y ou hav e m ade any m istake in entering the details use the opportunity to correct y our details. If y our entry is m atching with the no. m entioned in the pay -in-slip and still y our nam e appears in the discrepancy list, pl. contact the issuing branch for any correctiv e action at their end. f) SAIL will not be responsible for any am ount subm itted in wrong account or against wrong nam e/application no. or for wrong/not subm ission of pay m ent details. 2 0. Can I approach the associate banks of SBI with the pay in slip and deposit the am ount there? Ans. No, y ou hav e to approach to the nearest SBI bank only to deposit the registration am ount. No other associate bank of SBI is authorised to collect the registration am ount. 2 1 . My MBA degree doesnt m ention specialization, how can I apply against particular specialization? Ans. If the PG Degree/Diplom a in Managem ent does not m ention the area of specialization, specialization in the area will be considered only if the candidate has studied at least three subjects of the specialized course as electiv e subjects 2 2 . I want to change m y choice of centre, can I do it? Ans. A candidate is allowed to change his/her choice of centre till the online application window is open. For that a candidate has to re-login and m ake the necessary changes. It m ay be noted that sy stem will only allow change in choice of centre, other details once entered cannot be changed. 2 3 .
