    Finisar Corporation (Nasdaq:FNSR) is a technology leader for fiber optic subsystems and network performance test systems.

    These products enable high-speed data communications for networking and storage applications over Gigabit Ethernet local area networks (LANs), Fibre Channel storage area networks (SANs), and metropolitan area networks (MANs) using both IP and SONET/SDH-based protocols.

    Responsibilities:

    Responsible for loop back maintenance. Responsible for first hand trouble shooting on pre-scan and temperature failures if related to testers. Responsible for yield monitoring. Responsible for identifying bad slots and closely work with 4C debug. Responsible for collecting test output data from pre-scan & oven and update shiftly report in database. Perform any other duties as directed by the immediate supervisor from time to time. Sourcing of local vendor that provide better quality and service on test board assembly. Liaise closely with IE to ensure test hardware inventory is always optimized in term of number of board required and cost. Responsible for the development of TEBIS (Test Equipment & Board Inventory System). Overall control of hardware inventory Define turn around time for various board type under repair. Implement changes stipulate in Agile in term of board modification/upgrading. Define and document new troubleshooting method. Develop board debug tree from scratch Ensuring number of board under repair is <10% Responsible for the accuracy of board inventory. Optimize troubleshooting and debugging method on test board such that cost of maintaining the test board is minimized

    With good computer literacy, good communication skill and reporting of information/data. Familiar with circuit diagrams and a strong background in Electronics. Familiarity with test instruments (Spectrum Analyzers, Oscilloscopes, etc.)
