The Seventh Squad reports an Assault arrest of a Bellmore man on July 21, 2013 at 1:55am in Bellmore. According to Detectives, the thirty-two year old female victim was involved in a verbal argument with another female, when defendant Luis M. Linares, 18, of Bellmore Avenue Bellmore, became involved. The defendant took his pit-bull dog and chased the victim upstairs to her apartment yelling and ordering the dog to attack. The victim was bitten in the leg as she attempted to enter her apartment. She yelled to the defendant to get out of her apartment as she locked herself in her bathroom in an attempt for safety. The defendant proceeded to bang on the bathroom door until he punched a two foot hole in the door and again ordered the dog to attack. The victims two male children, ages, 8 and 10, in fear of their safety, locked themselves in another room of the apartment. The victims injury was minor and the children were not physically harmed. Defendant Luis M.
