Second Squad detectives are investigating an Assault that occurred on August 30, 2013 at 1:12 pm in S. Farmingdale. According to detectives, a 53 year old father became involved in a domestic dispute with his 23 year old son, Eric Georgoulakos, at their Grant Street home. As a result of the incident the son stabbed his father with a knife. Upon police arrival, the father was transported to an area hospital where he was admitted for treatment of his injuries. The son, who was no longer at the scene, went to a neighboring Washington Street home and asked the residents if he could use the bathroom and the phone. After being admitted in the house, Georgoulakos took the keys to a tan 2004 Chevrolet Trail Blazer with Pennsylvania plate number HKE2644 and fled the home stealing that vehicle. Detectives request anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Eric Georgoulakos or that vehicle to call 911. Details by: D/Sgt. Amritt/2nd Squad 168582727.doc
